when I miss my foodtrippings in the Philippines especially Korean, My go to place is Beque. They have big portions with reasonable price. Ajhumma change your grill even without you asking her that's how very attentive she is.

I have developed a deep admiration for this establishment. As a newcomer to the world of Korean BBQ, my visit to this restaurant has ignited a profound appreciation for this culinary experience. Alongside my sister, I have become a regular patron of this establishment, returning frequently due to the exceptional service and cuisine. The staff's attentiveness has left a lasting impression on me, and I wholeheartedly endorse this Korean BBQ restaurant as an outstanding establishment. Despite recent price adjustments in response to inflation, the quality and quantity of the food served continue to justify the dining experience. Undoubtedly, this establishment remains a cherished gem and my preferred destination for Korean BBQ, and my sentiments are echoed by my sister.

My daughter was turning 24 and she wanted Korean bbq for her bday dinner. Although her birthday fell on a Monday I wanted to make sure we got there before a possible dinner rush. We did. Location: This place is directly off the El Camino. Pay attention though as they sit in the back of a shopping center. I don't know if there is parking behind the restaurant but the parking in front of it was kind of tight. There are several shops, restaurants, and even a medical facility that shares the parking in the front. Customer Service: We were greeted by a nice lady. Once we were in the restaurant there was 3 other tables with eager patrons. There was 5 adults and a toddler in our party. As we were seated our drink orders were taken. Once drinks came we were ready to order. After our first round the waitress changed out or grill before bringing our second order of meat. Food: Of course all the banchan came out. We have fish cake, potato, kimchee, sprouts. For our grilling pleasure we ordered beef and chicken bulgogi, pork belly, and rib eye (2 orders). We also ordered white rice and vegetarian fried rice. Of course because it's a birthday we ordered lychee soju. Meats were fresh. We were pleased. This was our first visit but it won't be our last. I gotta come back so I can award the last star.

Ambience: The restaurant looked nice and organized. The table that we were seated at was also clean. But one thing that this kbbq restaurant was missing is an exhaust duct and hood at each table right above the grill, which I think is essential to have. But we were there for close to two hours, and impressively restaurant did not get smoky. Service: The service was totally five-star and top-notch. Our waitress was quick in bringing our food, and most impressively she did not need a paper or a tablet at all to remember any of our orders. And she delivered all of our orders correctly. Food: OK, let's get to the food now. My favorite was the #1, which was the spicy beef (think of it as Korean spicy pork, but with beef instead). It was very unique (I've never tried it elsewhere), it was delicious, and I would get that again. My second favorite was the #5, Chadol (beef, brisket). The beef brisket was thinly sliced, so when it was cooked, the meat remained tender. The #2, beef Bulgogi, was also good, but a few people at our table felt the meat was a little bit too sweet. But I liked it though. The #3, which was sliced ribeye meat, was good but it was not as tender as Chadol when cooked. But it was still good. We also ordered pork belly, which came to was super frozen and very thick. The pork belly was delicious and satisfying. It would be remiss of me to not mention how good their side dishes (banchan) were. I loved that they included Jap chae and seasoned Fishcake as part of the banchan! Price: $27 per person on the weekend was just unbeatable. If I lived nearby, I would probably visit this place so often.
